What Weaverville is built from
Chartered in 1875 in the Reems Creek valley about nine miles north of downtown, on the run of high ground known as Dry Ridge. A period Main Street with nineteenth-century houses behind it, farm and creekside properties out along Reems Creek toward Lake Louise, and a steady band of newer building on the ridges above.
